My passion is helping preschoolers with Autism develop early communication.
I work primarily with children aged 0-5 in Southwest Edmonton and surrounding areas.

Services
How much does speech therapy cost?
Assessment:
$300 for informal assessment (1-1.5 hours + written summary)
$500 for formal speech/language assessment (1-1.5 hours + full diagnostic report that can be used to access government services such as Program Unit Funding)
Treatment:
$140 for 60 minute session
$110 for 45 minute session
If you live in Windermere, Ambleside, Glenridding Heights or Keswick, I do not charge mileage for home visits. Outside of those communities, I charge the Canada Revenue Agency recommended rate (70 cents/km) to and from your home. An hourly surcharge will be added for travel greater than 30 minutes.
Is speech therapy covered by insurance?
I direct bill to Alberta Blue Cross & Canada Life/Great West Life, so you do not have to pay for all your therapy out of pocket. Many extended health insurance providers offer some coverage for speech therapy. Check with your insurance provider to find out more. Speech therapy is also considered a tax-deducible medical expense by the Canada Revenue Agency.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are in the comfort of your home. Children tend to be more engaged when they are in a familiar environment, and home is the perfect setting to help parents and families learn and implement supportive strategies in their daily routines.
What is your treatment approach?
I coach parents to follow their child’s lead and incorporate the use of visuals and play into daily routines to support understanding and expression.
I am a neurodiversity affirming therapist. I do not use behavioural approaches, such as ABA therapy.
